Ingersoll Rand IQv SeriesTM Cordless provides an ideal solution for light-duty surface preparation and cutoff applications. We have employed our industry-tested collet and head designs along with high durability engineered composite housings to provide these durable tools specifically for automotive and light industrial settings. Exclusive motor control technology protects against motor damage from heat or stalling. The GR25 cordless right angle die grinder provides the perfect combination of performance and portability for light-duty surface prep applications. The GR25 features patent-pending IQVTM Grip twist-to-lock mounting technology that grips the battery into the tool for the strongest, most secure design available. The GR25 is compatible with all 14.4V IQV batteries including NiCd and Lithium-Ion.

While for industrial use ( I work for the airlines ) I would of liked it a bit smaller. I cannot argue with the performance of this tool. It is very high speed. There is very little in the way of accessories with this unit and I paid a high premium for an extra battery and the case. However in this area this very little competition. One thing I would of liked however is the ability to face the heavy lobe of the battery the other way as it would obstruct your working surface if you were working on a flat surface ( good thing aircraft are ovular) anyhow you can swivel the head but then the trigger is facing towards your palm. Anyhow I have many a air tool that can do what this does but now I don't need to drag a airhose with me.Thanks

Happy with the product. Good engineering and buit to handle rough use. These IQv series tools are a professional tool. I have to say though I had to give the grinder breaks on big projects from constant running. Cordless is great now days but pnuematic is not going away so soon.

I was looking for a battery die-grinder. because i always have a use for a die-grinder when i am working in the garage or if i need to cut a pipe off. i am in the process of replacing all the plumbing in my house . and i just hate having a hose to drag around. its like having a electric weed trimmer. to cumbersome it has every bit the torq as my air grinder but no hose. battery last a long time before it need to be re-charged
